What is Direct Dial?
Times Telecom's Direct Dial Long Distance solutions lets users dial directly to their desired destination number without having to first enter an access number. You will need to switch your long distance service provider over to Times Telecom.

Can I use Direct Dial on my cell phone?
No. The direct dial service is only available to landline users. However, you can always sign up for our dial up long distance service and get the FREE Easy Dial feature, which is the same as dialing direct from your cell phone!

What happens after I sign up for Times Telecom Direct Dial Long Distance Service?
Once you have registered, it will take about 3 to 5 business days for your long distance to be switched to Times Telecom. To confirm that you are with Times Telecom, simply dial toll-free 1-700-555-4141 from the phone line you registered. If the voice prompt indicates that Times Telecom is your long distance service provider, your account is now active.

What is 1-700-555-4141?
1-700-555-4141 is a toll-free number maintained by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (or CRTC). When you call 1-700-555-4141 a recorded message informs you of the current long distance carrier for the line called from.

Can I switch more than one phone line to Times Telecom Long Distance?
There is no limit on the number of phone lines that you sign up with Times Telecom Long Distance Service. The more lines you register, the greater your savings.

Do I need to notify my current carrier that I'm switching to Times Telecom?
No, when you sign up for our Long Distance, we notify your local carrier of the request and make the switch, automatically cancelling services with your previous long distance provider.

Are there any fees or minimum usage requirements with Times Telecom Direct Dial Long Distance?
There are no fees or minimum usage requirements associated with Times Telecom direct dial long distance service.

Will any long distance charges appear on my local phone bill?
No. All your long distance usage will be charged by Times Telecom through a monthly invoice which you can choose to receive electronically or by standard mail (a mailing service fee of $0.99 applies to paper bills if usage is under $10.00)

What will happen to my current local and long distance service if I register for Times Telecom Direct Dial Long Distance?
There will be no change to your local service, but any long distance services you are currently receiving from other carriers will be cancelled. All long distance charges will be billed by Times Telecom.
