How much will I be billed in start-up and monthly charges?

Start-up and monthly costs for Times Telecom service depends on your selected calling plan. You can review our Plan Comparison Chart, which let’s you evaluate all of Times Telecom calling plans and find out which fees will be charged to your account.
NOTE: Your will be charged Provincial and Federal Excise Taxes according to your residential address. Long distance rates will be charged according to Times Telecom "Talk Anywhere, Anytime" International per-minute rates listed on our website.

What are your international rates? |
Times Telecom let’s you talk all over the world with it’s competitive "Talk Anywhere, Anytime" international per-minute rates. You can even select to sign up to one of our unlimited calling plans that gives you the freedom to talk as much as you want to many countries.

Does Times Telecom charge taxes? |
Certain federal, state, provincial, municipal, local or other governmental sales, use, excise, value added, personal property, public utility or other taxes, fees or charges now in force or enacted in the future, may apply, or become applicable in connection with the use of your Times Telecom service. You will be responsible for any Taxes. Applicable Taxes will be charged directly to your credit card. Taxes levied on your invoice statement depend on your residential address.
If Customer is exempt from payment of such taxes, it will provide Times Telecom with an original government-issued certificate attesting to tax-exempt status. Tax exemption will only apply from and after the date Times Telecom receives the Tax Exempt Document.
Canada
Times Telecom is obligated to collect provincial and federal taxes on any one-time charges, monthly recurring charges, and usage charges included within your Times Telecom billing statement.

How will Times Telecom bill me? |
All monthly fees and any additional per minute based on Times Telecom rates table charges incurred will be charged directly to your credit card on the same date and at the same time every month from activation date. Your billing cycle will run at the beginning of the month for the previous month and will only start once your order is processed and completed, not at sign up.
Times Telecom will forward an online version of your monthly statement via your registered email with information on your call log and charges. You can also view your real-time billing information, archived billing statements and make changes to your credit card information when you log on to your Web Portal Account.

What payment methods does Times Telecom currently accept?
|
Times Telecom currently accepts credit card (Visa Discover, MasterCard, or American Express) payments only. We do not accept at this moment debit/check cards (Mastercard and Visa), personal checks or money transfers. Times Telecom gives you the convenience of disclosing your credit information by phone at 1-888-980-8380 or on our website.

What will happen to my account if there is a problem with my credit card?
|
If your credit card was declined during the beginning of the month billing cycle, you will be notified via email and you will have 10 days to change your credit card under your profile. A second billing cycle will run only for failed transactions in 10 days of the first billing cycle and if credit card authorization fails then your account will be temporarily suspended until you make complete and full payment of any and all outstanding account charges.
If your account has not been paid in full within 14 days after the failed transaction, Times Telecom reserves the right to deactivate your account. A reactivation fee of $9.95 will be charged to restore your account.
After 30 days without payment, Times Telecom will permanently suspend your account, after which you will need to sign up to Times Telecom as a new customer and assume all start-up costs once again.

Will I receive a paper bill?
|
Times Telecom only submits electronic versions of your account statement via your registered email and Web Account Portal. Your statements will all be archived in your Account Portal giving you better control over the financial aspect of your Times Telecom service. We will also automatically charge your authorized credit card, so there’s no hassle, no fuss.

Can I carryover from one month to the next any unused minutes?
|
With Times Telecom Unlimited Calling Plans, you don’t need to manage your unused minutes because they are already included FREE within your plan. The only charges that you need to monitor are directory assistance calls and long distance calls made to destinations outside of your calling plan. |

How much am I charged a minute if I go over my monthly allowance or I call to a destination outside of my calling plan?

If you are subscribed to an unlimited calling plan subject to a monthly fee, and in the event that you exceed the allowed minutes for the plan, you will be charged on per minute for every exceeding minute as per Times Telecom rates. Unlimited plans will have an upper limit on total minutes for in plan calls. Regularly exceeding this limit will force Times Telecom to put you onto to a higher minute usage plan. Can I change my calling plan at any time?
|
Yes, you can change your plan any time you want, as much as you want, at no additional charges! Simply contact customer service ten (10) days prior to your next billing cycle at csr@Times Telecom.com or call 1-888-980-8380 and request to have your calling plan changed. Plan changes are made to correspond to your next full billing cycle, your new rate plan will therefore only take effect then and not before.
There is no charge for changing your calling plan. You can even make the change yourself by logging into your Web Account Portal. |

Do you charge for shipping & handling?

In order to assure that you safely receive your Times Telecom device, we send the package via special courier. A one-time shipping and handling fee of $14.95 will be charged to your account.

How much does it cost to access my Times Telecom account via cell phone or other registered number?
|
Times Telecom lets you access your Times Telecom account via cell phone or other registered number by giving you our Canadian access numbers and a PIN. Your calls will be charged according to Times Telecom international rates.

What should I do if I discover a billing error?
|
If you feel there has been a mistake on your statement, you must notify Times Telecom in writing of any disputed charges within thirty (30) days of the charges or you will be deemed to have waived your right to dispute the charges. What is your cancellation policy?
|
You may cancel the service and request a return of unused funds in your pre-paid account balance within 60 days of your credit card charge, subject to payment of any applicable monthly fees or usage charges. Such funds include only those you actually paid and do not include bonuses or other promotional additions to your account balance. A $5.00 refund processing fee will be incurred for all refunds processed (excluding refunds under the terms of the Money Back Guarantee).
If you cancel within the first 30 days of service activation for any reason, through our Money Back Guarantee we will waive the $49.99 disconnect fee and refund your activation, shipping, and first month of service. The money back guarantee is available if you have cancelled the service within 30 days of account activation, and you have not exceeded a total accumulated usage of 250 minutes. If you meet these requirements, Times Telecom will refund the charges for monthly and activation fees if written notice is received by Times Telecom within such 30 day period.
If you were shipped an adapter for Broadband Phone Service, the Money Back Guarantee described herein is payable and contingent upon your returning such equipment to Times Telecom within 14 days. The device must be returned to Times Telecom in the condition it was received and in the original packaging. You are responsible for return shipping and associated costs and you must contact Times Telecom Customer Care to cancel your service and obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number before shipping the equipment. Cancellations are not deemed completed and service charges will continue to apply until we have received our Device with a valid cancellation number.
Customers on a 12-month contract can cancel the Service before the end of the Money Back Guarantee period or after 12 months of the activation date without penalty. If customers on a 12-month contract cancel the Service for any reason after the Money Back Guarantee period or before 12 months of service, the customer is subject to a cancellation fee of $29.95. Customers subscribed on a month to month contract may cancel the Service at any time without penalty.
