Times Telecom’s Equal Access or Direct Dial Long Distance solutions
is a domestic and international long distance call service that gives
its residential and corporate customers a way to save money on their
long distance phone calls from anywhere in Canada.
How does it Work?
This method, also known as Direct Dialing, allows customers to simply
dial as they have always dialed to the number they wish to call without
any extra digits in order to access the Times Telecom International
network. Unlike the Dial Up service, whereby a user has to dial a local
access number followed by voice prompt and the international number.
EQA allows subscribers to dial directly without having to change their
calling habit i.e. without the use of a local access number.
Activation of a qualified account will
usually take effect within 4-5 business days.
Advantages of Equal Access Long Distance Service
Low Rates
Times Telecom Inc. offers the most competitive rates to China, Hong
Kong, US and Canada and many other countries around the world.
No Risk
Times Telecom bills the customer after they have made their calls,
unlike phone cards where call are paid before they are made and subject
to possible disconnections and unavailable service.
No connection fees or hidden charges
Most phone cards will have hidden charges and or connection fees.
Honest Billing
Some companies offer rates that are based on five, ten or even twenty
minute call lengths and their customer must have use the full length
of the call to take advantage of the advertised rate. (i.e. Call
Canada for $1.00 and get twenty minutes of call length-not a good deal
if you talk for only ten minutes).
Coverage
Times state of the art network is growing faster everyday. Customers
can now call from anywhere in Canada to anywhere in the world.
No Extra Numbers to dial
With Times EQA service, there is no extra 10-10- xxx
or local access numbers that need to be dialled before a North American
or International call is placed.
